compelling plots, dramatic characters

and nail biting twists

some of my favourites

Everyone loves a good murder mystery, especially if there is a lovable protagonist fighting against the forces of evil. We want to be part of their journey, help them solve the riddle, one clue at the time. We love to be surprised when the killer turns out to be who we least expected. Best of all, unlike a movie, a good book will keep you going for days, depending on how fast you read that is of course. I find reading on Kindle is much quicker than paper-back, but I do love real books.

With this in mind here is a list of some of my favourite crime thrillers and mysteries.

  • Dead Man's Time by Peter James

  • The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown

  • The Stonehenge Legacy by Sam Christer

  • Swimsuit by James Patterson

  • The Hard Way by Lee Child

  • Taunting The Dead by Mel Sherratt

  • Natural Causes by James Oswald

  • The Double Eagle by James Twining

  • The Grave Tattoo by Val McDermid

  • The Courier by Ava McCarthy

  • The House at Sea’s End by Elly Griffiths
